What this policy covers
This policy covers:
- the PuzzleRush game for Android and its online services (accounts, friends, challenges and online play); and
- the hqmapps.com website.
PuzzleRush has not launched yet. This policy describes how we plan to handle information when it does, and will be finalised before release.
This website
hqmapps.com is a static information site. It:
- sets no cookies and uses no local storage;
- has no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and loads no third-party fonts or widgets;
- has no sign-in, no accounts and no forms that send information to us.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request information (such as your IP address, browser user-agent and the page requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.To be confirmedWhether HQM Apps enables or retains any Cloudflare logs or web analytics, and for how long.
Information PuzzleRush uses
To run the game and its online features, PuzzleRush may process the following:
Account information
- PuzzleRush account ID — a random identifier we create for your account.
- Public handle and display name — the name other players see.
- Email address — for registered accounts. Your email is private: it is never shown to other players.
- Google sign-in identity — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive an account identifier and basic profile information from Google to link your PuzzleRush account. We never receive your Google password.
- Password — if you create an email and password account, we store only a secure one-way hash of your password, never the password itself.
- Guest accounts — you may be able to play as a guest without giving an email address.To be confirmedExact guest-account behaviour, recovery and conversion to a registered account.
Gameplay information
- Game progress, scores, streaks and achievements.
- In-game economy and inventory, such as earned currency and items.
- Friends lists, friend requests and friend codes.
- Friend Challenge history and results.
- When released, Quick Match and Ranked match records and ratings.
Safety and moderation
- Reports you make about other players, and reports made about you.
- Moderation decisions and related notes.
Security and technical information
- Session and sign-in information, such as login times and session tokens.
- Technical logs needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, app version, device type and error reports.
Purchases

What we do not do
- We do not use your device serial number, IMEI or similar hardware identifiers to identify you as a player.
- We do not show your email address to other players.
- We do not store passwords in plain text.
- We do not use Apple Sign-In; PuzzleRush is being built for Android first.

How we use information
- To create and run your account and sign you in.
- To save your progress and sync it to your account.

- To fix bugs, keep the service secure and reliable, and improve the game.
- To respond when you contact support.
- To meet legal obligations.

What other players can see
Other players may see your public handle, display name, and game information shown in social and competitive features — for example, Friend Challenge results and, when released, match results and rankings. Your email address and sign-in details are never shown.
Service providers & sharing
We use service providers to host and run PuzzleRush (for example, cloud hosting and database services) and, if you choose it, Google to sign you in. These providers process information on our behalf to provide the service.

We may disclose information if required by law, or where necessary to protect players, the public or our service.
Security
We design PuzzleRush with security in mind: passwords are stored only as secure hashes, connections are encrypted, and access to player data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix issues quickly.
How long we keep data
We keep account information while your account exists. When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymise its information, except where we must keep some records for a limited time for security, fraud prevention or legal reasons.

Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict some processing. You will be able to delete your account at any time.
